NEW RULES & TINY TOME TOO

Along with a major revision to the rules, a couple months ago I was finally able to give Witch Knife a graphic treatment in time for its contribution to Tiny Tome 2. I’m excited that Witch Knife was included in this collection of one page RPGs. I’m fixing to buy a physical copy once the move is done and settled. Looking forward to having both editions to turn to for game night at the home table.

The core rules for Witch Knife are now available as:

HEX N HOLLER

Breathe in, breathe out. We caught our breath at the top of the mountain.

As some of ya’ll know, if we met in an outdoor market stall, I’m part of a creative collective called Hex N Holler. This project has been a long and steady process of growth for myself and all involved. (For those of you who have simply stumbled here, picture “fantasy Cracker Barrel” made by and for southern queers). And this past winter we’ve been busy scouting for a new home that would support our ambitions for it.

My partners and I have been taking time to rest, take stock of our past work, and set our trajectories for the future. A move from the city to the rural life has shaken up our day to day and of course has forced us to move at a slower pace and with the allowance of nature. It’s been hard and it’s been freeing. It’s been frustrating. It’s been hilarious. It’s been just living. But my hand’s been itching to get back to writing. I’m truly grateful to be here. Every breath is another chance to finish what I started. Thank the stars for permitting me to be so long winded.

ON THE HORIZON

Fate and a bingo ball has willed it that this cryptid’s next sighting will be at FLUKE 2025 in Athens, Georgia. As is ritual, I’ll be bringing free, updated copies of WK to the show. Currently, I have a couple of games and zine ideas in the fire but the one I’m planning to have finished by March 29 for FLUKE is my first game scenario for WK.

And with that, friends and strangers, we’ve reached the end of the updates. Still a lot more to come and I’m excited for what spring is bringing. Til our paths cross again, stay safe.
