It’s been a long road getting this one-page demo up. I’ve done my best to narrow down the now two dozen page (yet still modest) initial rule book I’ve been returning to over and over these last couple years. I believe what I wound up with is a first version of a demo that sets a good foundation for understanding the growth of the game.

Might be cringe but, working on this game saved my life. I’m grateful for my mind and for what I know people can’t take from me, no matter how heinous their treatment or how little they think of my trans and black existence. I’m grateful for the real friends who mean it when they say “ride or die.” I’m grateful for my partners, they supported me while the city we’re trying to escape from beat us down, near to dust.

Me and my dog and my lovely little family are finally leaving for our next adventure, making a new home. I can’t wait for others and myself to discover more of Witch Knife there.
